[Scons-dev] Would requiring Python 2.7.4 or above be a problem for future release?

We are not breaking support for 2.7.  We are considering setting a minimum
requirement that isn't 2.7.0 since 2,7 was rather bugging on release
(threading issues), and we desire backported 3x features.
