[Scons-dev] Would requiring Python 2.7.4 or above be a problem for future release?

Support for python 3 is good. breaking python 2.7 which is very not dead yet is not so good

Python 3 is the future not a trap. Mercurial made a design decision
that they are choosing not to change and are sticking with Python 2 to
avoid what is claimed to be vast amounts of work. Mercurial is a Python
outlier, not a mainstream application.
