[reportlab-users] Embedded fonts

Thank you for the response Andy!  Somehow I missed this.  I -hope- the print vendor will be happy with anything "odd" being added and everything else being considered standard.

But one question.  When I use the barcode method in ReportLab, is it drawing the bars, or using an internal font?  And if the latter will that be embedded?

Yes, absolutely.

The user guide chapter on fonts covers how to add them.  As long as you are using a custom font with one of the registerXXX function calls, (and not just the font name "Times-Roman", "Helvetica" or
"Courier") then the font will be embedded within the PDF file when it is created.
