Good policy. And I wouldn't call buildout "well-supported". It's
barely maintained, doesn't support modern packaging standards like
wheels, and the documentation is nothing to write home about.

It has some nice features (like the optional shared egg cache that can
speed up builds), but those come at a hefty price.
