We'll try to tackle this in our next release, and ensure it works
cleanly with various distutils options.

I hoped we'd do a release in May but we have fallen behind (as Dinu will
doubtless point out), partly as we're working on a new web site; we did at
least go through and identifying the key changes which need documenting.
It should hopefully come out in June/July.
