[reportlab-users] newby: is importing eps possible?

Hi,
I am evaluating the use of the reportlab library in a project, but I need 
to import eps files.

Reading the docs I learned that to support graphics file formats other 
than jpeg you need PIL, but PIL supports eps only in output.

So my question: is there any way to embed eps files in pdfs generated by 
pdfgen/platipus?
