I know that, sir, i tried to do it and it worked but only from the jython command prompt, but when i tried it from a java compiler it did not work, so this is why i asked what is the use of this file and whether the reportlab will work on the jython from a java complier if i added this class to the jar file of the jython ?
This must have been accidentally included in a distribution. Which file
did you find it in?
