We had once a go on this. We have tried it with a chess board like
arrangement of flowables. The problem was that the default behavior was
that no text is placed in the flowable if it does not fit completely in
it. This could we solve, but then we had the problem that there is a
space between the flowables we could only minimize but not completely
remove. We accepted it this way. But it needed a lot of hacking.
So if there is a more simple approach I would also be very interested
into some example.
