[Scons-dev] Should we remove python 3.5 from our CI tests

No way. Distros (e.g. Debian 9) package Python 3.5.

Are you going to drop Python 2 support too?

It's really not that big of a deal to test each minor version. Plenty
of open source software far less important than SCons does it.
