[Scons-dev] Python 2/3 support with Python-Future

Hi all,

Thank you for your work on SCons!

I am the primary author of the Python-Future project for Python 2/3 compatibility: http://python-future.org. This is an email to let you know about the existence of the ``future`` package and ``futurize`` script and to express the intention for it to save you a lot of time and effort with migrating SCons to a clean Py2/3 compatible codebase.

I am keen to see Py3 support in SCons; one reason is because it is the build tool used by the exciting Nuitka project.
