Oh that ancient and dark Unix world. People learn games by playing or
by cursory reading of some short documentation. I believe you are not
right. I don't try to persuade me that build system and a game are not

There are two things that I value in SCons:
1. simplicity, which is usability + intuitiveness
2. portability
Expressive man pages doesn't add to any of those.
