Rob,

Your project on Debian Unstable with a change of installation directory
gives me:

I would have expected no libtest.so.2.5 and more like:

libtest.so -> libtest.so.2
libtest.so.2 -> libtest.so.2.5.4
libtest.so.2.5.4

I haven't yet managed to get the Aeryn build to work properly with your
stuff. Probably too much of my hacking still left in there to allow you
builder stuff to do what it is being asked. I shall keep going a bit
longer…
