[Scons-dev] Subst API

Hello,

I am working on an improved API for the substitution API. I have started getting notes on the design and API on the wiki at http://www.scons.org/wiki/ProposalForImprovedSubstEngine

I am still working on it, however I find it harder to work as I am trying to watch my kids. Please take a look at it and make an suggestions you have to me or on the discussion page. This will help make sure the proposal can be improved to work better for SCons.
