[reportlab-users] Spaces stripped out....

In printing a table of full names, usernames and passwords, I pad each
column with spaces chr(32) on each side of each column for the screen and
thought I could simply grab them and insert them in a PDF via the open
source ReportLab.

However, when I create a paragraph of each line, insert them in a doc and
then print, the strings of spaces disappear and the length of each line
collapses to what looks like a sentence. When I use a hypen as a fill
character, everything is fine. Is there a way to turn off the automatic
stripping process, or should I perhaps just set use hyphens and set the
foreground color to the background color (white), or take some different
approach involving margins?

Thanks for your consideration!
