Cristina, it seems that you are developing in some version of Report
Markup Language, our commercial product.

If you are, or are working with, a commercial customer of ours, please
drop me a line directly, or contact support at reportlab.com through a
whitelisted client address. If you're evaluating it, you can contact
enquiries at reportlab dot com and we'll try to help too. However, if
you're using TinyRML or Z3c.rml, we regrettably can't help as we
didn't write those.

I believe that the RML Document Type Declaration (dtd) does not permit
the use of the rotate tag in that context, and our open source engine
beneath it (and both of the above variants) doesn't give an easy way
to rotate a table cell's contents. The difference is that with our
product, you get a parser error that makes this 100% clear right away;
you simply can't use that tag there. We can do it in RML, but only
by nesting a few structures inside each other.

Best Regards,
