[reportlab-users] installing reportlab on aix 5.3

Hi guys,

Trying to install reportlab 2.4 on aix 5.3.

Most of my foss packages have come from perzl.org (gcc, python, etc.) 
and are installed in /opt/freeware.

I have freetype2 installed but cannot get setup.py to find it in 
/opt/freeware/lib.  Also, it is libfreetype.a, not a .so.  Will that 
make a difference for RL use?
