[reportlab-users] intra-paragraph backcolor?

Is there any way to set the background color on selected text within a 
paragraph? I know I can use <para backColor='yellow'> for the entire 
paragraph, but I only want to hilite certain words, a la:
<p>The effect is <span style='background-color:yellow'>easy</span> to 
achieve in html/css.</p>
