[reportlab-users] Installing on Mac OSX

Hi all,
I'd like to give ReportLab a try, but I'm having some trouble  
installing it on my Mac. Maybe someone here can help me to figure out  
to get it done.

At the moment I'm using the Python distribution provided by Apple on  
OSX 10.5, i.e. Python 2.5.2. When I try to install ReportLab via  
easy_install I get the following error:


> ld: library not found for -l_renderPM_libart

> ld: library not found for -l_renderPM_libart


I'm not sure, but I think this issue can be related to the lack of  
freetype2 from OSX. Is freetype2 mandatory to get ReporLab up and  
runnning? Can anyone give me some hints or a recipe about how to  
install ReportLab on OSX?
