So easy_install parses our HTML and finds the most recent timestamped
file on it? How utterly fragile and moronic.

Their documentation is no use on this, except to suggest that I
can use --allow-hosts=None to stop the world from using easy_install
(arguably a good solution).

I guess I have to read the setuptools code in order to 'not support it' better
