[reportlab-users] Pie chart with all wedge labels to one side, with horizontal label pointers

I'm looking to create a pie chart where all the wedge labels are aligned
to one side of the pie, connected to their respective wedges by a
horizontal label pointer. This would be similar to a pie chart with the
legend to one side, except that instead of a color swatch a horizontal
label pointer connects to the wedge. I need a chart like this as there's
not enough room to have labels on both left and right sides, but I'd
still like pointers. Can this be done with the existing Pie charts? Is
it feasible as a customisation?
