[reportlab-users] _renderPM on Ubuntu

Hi,
I am trying to install the _renderPM module on Ubuntu 7.04.  I have
installed the ReportLab packages using the Synaptic package manager, but
these do not include _renderPM.  I am new to Ubuntu and am trying to follow
the procedure I used successfully with Fedore Core 6:

      mkdir svnReportLab
     cd svnReportLab
     svn co http://www.reportlab.co.uk/svn/public/reportlab/trunk
     cd trunk/rl_addons/renderPM
     python setup.py install

The python setup.py issues a lot of warning and error messages.  I assume I
am either missing libraries or Ubuntu has used different names/locations.
 Anyone have a pointer to instructions for installing _renderPM under Ubuntu
7.04?
