[reportlab-users] Error with the character ampersand

ampersands are treated specially in XML. To put an ampersand in rour paragraphs 
you need to use the form

"..........&................"

There are a couple of other commonly needed entities including &lt; == "<"
&gt; == ">", &quot; etc etc

you can also use the &#163; form to produce special characters numerically.
