The problem imho is not about whether it is feasible to implement a report 
writer. I haven't seen Crystal Reports, etc, but I have seen Kugar (KDE 
Report designer/renderer) ... and It is quite feasible to reimplement Kugar 
using RL.

However, this would waste the capabilities of RL completely. But where to draw 
the line ?
