[reportlab-users] Positioning of Legend items

Hello,

if I draw a horizontal legend (columnMaximum=1)
then I get the following picture:

-- R1       -- R2 long  -- R3       -- R4

How can I get a legend, which looks like
the following?

-- R1  -- R2 long  -- R3  -- R4

The distance between the items should always
be the same, regardless of the length of the text.
