[reportlab-users] advanced graphics package

Hello,

I want to use the graphics package of reportlab-1.19 to draw charts for my
pdf-pages.
But the graphics package is a bit tricky until now.

E.g. I haven't found the following features:
- the Legend class has no possibility for a custom background color
- the Legend class is not able to draw a border around it
- you can not set a background color for the drawing object
- What's a simple way to access the line colors in a LineChart?

This are the points I found, when I experimented a bit with
the graphics package.

Is there some development under way?
What can I expect?
Is there a graphics package (vector graphics) for reportlab, which is more
developed?
How do you draw charts in your pdf-pages?
