[reportlab-users] Can reportlab make a similar chart as this?

Hi-

I'm hoping to start using reportlab at work to automate a lot of our
charting.  This page:

is a typical slide that we do here.  It shows a chart of two series over
time, one of which appears in a smaller time frame, along with the shaded
regions that show recessions.  Can reportlab make charts similar to this? 
Would anyone be interested in helping me code up this chart as a reportlab
chart?
