[reportlab-users] building _renderPM.so on Mac OS X 10.2.8

Python 2.1 has a couple of issues... 2.2 and 2.3 should work fine.

Try running ranlib on build/temp.darwin-6.8-Power 
Macintosh-2.1/lib_renderPM_gt1.a
and recompiling... If that doesn't help I don't know.

PS: Robin, will there ever be a tarball of renderPM in this new
     millenium?
