I'm new on this list and new to ReportLab, so hopefully I'm not missing the
mark here completely.

What I would like to see here is a website for 'community contributions'. At
the very least such as site would allow uses to submit their
widgets/extentions to reportlab and act as a single source site for such
contributions. Ideally each contributor would be able to set up their own
'reportlab homepage' where they can describe their widget/extension and how
to use it etc. The site could either be part of www.reportlab.org, or it
could be done completely independantly by the 'community' itself. Personally
I would prefer such a site to be part of www.reportlab.org, as it would keep
things together and on the whole I think gives the project a better 'feel'.

What do others think of this?

Even if it was to be hosted as part of reportlab.org, I would not be expecting
ReportLab Inc to have to spend (much) time on getting this set up. I believe
that if the community wants it then it should build it - and I am more than
willing to help.

Cheers,

Rasjid.
