[reportlab-users] Python 2.3.2 compatibility

I am trying to catch up on this thread and understand
exactly what the problems are with 2.3.  Are people saying that
(a) on Mac OS X we generate corrupt files?
(b) on Windows we generate corrupt files?
(c) if you have not run setup.py, and try to run it
locally in the download directory, it appears to work
but creates corrupt files?

...or something else?

As soon as we know, we can try to reproduce this.
