[reportlab-users] Making use of N/A feature in bargraphs

I need to generate a number of bargraphs that may have missing data for
early
years for some of the graphs.  It looks like there is some facility for
handling
N/A data in the barchart classes, but I can't seem to figure out how to use
it.

Questions:

1) What data value will trigger the system to regard it as N/A data (zero
doesn't seem to work)?

2) What is proper syntax for setting the label to be printed when N/A data
is encountered?
