MacLoggerDX doesn't have any way to inhibit PTT that I can think of.

Is there a setting in the K3 menus that enables/disables PTT from the  
Mic jack and/or the ACC jack ?

You might want to ask microHAM if there is anything you have to do  
with the microKEYER or it's cables when moving from the K2 to the K3.
